Jill Hallin - Investigator and Agency Principal

Jill Hallin began her private investigative career in 2001 after leaving law enforcement.  During her career as a police officer, she worked for departments in Washington and Alaska.  Her duties included regular patrol, D.A.R.E., and investigations.  She was a detective for 3 years.

After leaving law enforcement, Ms. Hallin participated as an investigative intern for The Defender's Association, a public defender agency in Seattle.  After working as an intern for 6 months, Ms. Hallin was hired for the summer of 2002 as a temporary full time staff investigator.  During this time, Ms. Hallin took the State of Washington Private Investigative agency test with the hope of opening her own private investigative agency.

In September 2002 Ms. Hallin was asked to join C.D.Beck & Associates, a highly respected private investigative firm in Seattle.  Ms. Hallin worked for Christine Beck until July 2003 when Ms. Beck closed her office and restricted her workload.  While with C.D.Beck & Associates, Ms. Hallin worked with Ms. Beck on criminal and civil defense investigations, which included complex felony cases at both the state and federal level.  Ms. Hallin worked for several law firms on cases which included health insurance fraud, personal injury, wrongful death, food tampering, domestic violence issues and assault charges.

In July 2003 Ms. Hallin opened Insight Investigations.  The agency is licensed by the State of Washington and the Department of Professional Licensing (#0002124).  The agency, with Ms. Hallin as the main investigator, conducts both criminal and civil investigations for law firms and corporations.  Her background in law enforcement allows Ms. Hallin to bring a unique perspective to criminal cases.  The services she provides includes case coordination, crime scene investigation, photography, general research, criminal defense, witness contacts and interviews.

Ms. Hallin is a member of and has held a board position for the Washington Association of Legal Investigators (W.A.L.I.) and is currently a member in good standing of the Pacific Northwest Association of Investigators (P.N.A.I.).  She attends trainings and workshops regularly for continuing education purposes.

Ms. Hallin would be pleased to discuss a case with you. Please inquire to her directly for references and fees.
